Official Rules
1. Eligibility
- Open to individuals 18 years or older
- Must be able to legally perform, record, and submit original vocal performances
- Internet access required
3. Performance Guidelines
- Participants may reference the Sunny Rayne version for comparison
- Performances must be original and created by the participant
- No profanity, hate speech, or offensive content
4. Human Performance Requirement
- All submissions must feature a human-performed vocal recording
- AI-generated vocals, voice cloning, or synthetic voice tools are not permitted
- Standard audio processing (EQ, compression, reverb, noise reduction) is allowed
- VertiStar reserves the right to request verification from advancing participants
- Submissions that do not comply may be disqualified
5. Competition Rounds
- Round 1: Open submission round
- Round 2: Semi-finalist round (invitation-based)
- Round 3: Finalist round with public and panel voting
6. Winner Selection
Winners are selected based on:
- Vocal performance
- Musicality
- Audience engagement
- Alignment with VertiStar productions
7. Prizes & Opportunities
Selected artist(s) may receive:
- Opportunity to become the featured performing artist on select recordings
- Potential appearance in VertiStar productions
- Performance opportunities related to VertiStar projects
No cash prize guaranteed. Opportunities subject to further agreement.
8. Rights & Permissions
By entering, participants grant VertiStar:
- Permission to repost, share, and promote submitted content
- Non-exclusive use of submitted performances for promotional purposes
9. General Conditions
VertiStar reserves the right to:
- Modify or cancel the competition
- Disqualify entries that violate the rules
